    Located on the left in the Audi virtual cockpit, the power meter lets you keep a constant eye on the system’s total output, the drive mode and the battery’s state of charge. In the middle you can see the remaining range, divided between the electric motor and the combustion engine.

    With a total range of approximately 56–62 kilometres¹¹, you can complete many everyday short trips in all-electric mode – pleasantly quiet and producing zero local emissions. On long journeys, you can rely on the familiar range of the combustion engine to get you confidently to your destination.

  • Choice of drive type – four driving modes.

    You can choose which drive type to use: all-electric driving (EV), primary use of the combustion engine to conserve battery charge for electric driving later on (Hold) or to increase it (Charge)⁴, or the efficient interplay of the two (Hybrid).

Seeing a red light never felt so rewarding.

Grouping the digital OLED rear lights¹³ on the Audi Q5 Sportback TFSI e into individually activated segments with a three-dimensional layout makes it possible to create impressive lighting scenarios.  You can choose one of three tail light signature designs¹³ as a highlight to personalise your Q5 Sportback TFSI e. In addition, depending on driving mode, the character of the tail light signature is adapted automatically when in use. The digital OLEDs are also equipped with proximity detection⁸: when the vehicle is stationary and another vehicle or road user approaching from behind comes within 2 metres, all OLED segments are automatically activated to create a larger visible area.

The battery for the electric motor is integrated below the flat loading area in such a way as to provide up to 1,360 litres of luggage capacity. An especially practical feature is the flexible rear seat bench plus, which can be angled or moved forwards and backwards as required. The three segments of the rear seat backrest can be folded down separately or together.

The specified fuel consumption and emission data have been determind according to the measurement procedures prescribed by law. Since 1st September 2017, certain new vehicles are already being type-approved according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure for measuring fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Starting on September 1st 2018, the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) will be replaced by the WLTP in stages. They are intended exclusively as a means of comparison between different vehicle types. Additional equipment and accessories (e.g. add-on parts, different tyre formats, etc.) may change the relevant vehicle parameters, such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, and, in conjunction with weather and traffic conditions and individual driving style, may affect fuel consumption, electrical power consumption, CO2 emissions and the performance figures for the vehicle.
